Hello, we're students of 5A class, "Luigi Pirandello" primary school   in Pesaro.
We would to tell you about an interesting excursion that we made last May.
At about 80 Km from Pesaro rises a small village called Genga where the famous "caves of Frasassi" are situated and where they penetrate into the mountains for 400 metres.

The Frasassi aerea is considerated by experts to be one of the most important in Europe.
The caves have been discovered since few decennia.
Inside, the bigger cavities present a spettacle of extraordinary beauty in the world built by nature during the centuries.

The stalactities and the stalagmites can't be touched because our hands leave a greasy layer that prevent their increase.
The stalactities and stalagmites often take extraordinary and fantastic form as well as "Organ Pipes","Esmerald Lake","Barbara Room" and "Candles Room".
