Lisbon
Lisbon is a
beautiful and bright city that sees the sun rising up over the waters of Tagus river every
day.

| It was conquered to the Muslins by "D.Afonso
Henriques", the first King of Portugal, in the 12th century.
There are many important museums in Lisbon: Marine Museum, Child Museum, Ancient Art
Museum, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation among others.
Lisbon was destroyed by an enormous earthquake in 18th century. The "Marquês de
Pombal", the prime minister of the time, rebuilt the city following a modern plan.
